Browsing the newly designed Mono project website one day, I browsed out of pure boredom through the screenshots page and found this interesting piece of photo:

Mono running on a Nokia 770!

A Nokia 770 Linux powered Internet “tablet” that apparently can (with some modifications) use the Mono framework and even run a small prototype Mono program! There’s also
a small video available for those who like to view what little it can do at this stage. The video itself isn’t very interesting, but the fact that Mono has been (partially) ported to the Linux distro that the 770 is running. This opens the eyes on .NET developers (such as me) who want to expand the horizions of their programs to more platforms. If only the guys porting this thing would refrain from applying the limitations of the Compact .NET Framework to this 770 Mono version. It would be so much easier to do wonderous things without the limitations that I feel the .NET CF apply.

Hmm, I wonder what other cool things you can do in the future using Mono on the 770?
