Amazon wants you to take this Audiovox Windows Mobile Smartphone!

Over at Smartphone Thoughts, I spotted something funny once again. This time, Amazon will pay you around 25 US$ if you buy the AudiovoxSMT5600 Smartphone. Which is what you should get when the rebate is larger than the price of the device…

Makes me wonder what the problems with this device are when they are giving money to buy/take it?

No problems, This ain’t the MPx220.
Seriously, this is just the product of rebates from AT&T and Amazzon. In fact, if you browse Amazon, you can pick up a SE phone for -$200.00. This is one of the cheaper money-in-your-pocket rebates they are running.

Yeah, I suspected that it was something like a service contract bundle thingy going on over at Amazon. Over here that will never appear as bundeling cellphones with service contracts is not allowed. This year, a workgroup had pondered upon letting that be lawful, but the polls just pointed negatively with a majority of people saying that they would not buy a phone with a contract. Even the cell providers here were against it!
And, I personally like it this way we’ve got it here…
